Apples and Arts

There is a lot happening in the counties this weekend. Today, September 27th, I spent the morning doing a walking tour in the downtown to take in a few Apples and Arts locations. I stopped in at the Cornwall Community Museum to see Pierre Giroux’s painting, Carrots & Dates to see Yafa Goawily and her vibrant body paint and recycled art pieces, then 125 Pitt Street Studios to visit a multitude of talented artist, and ended with The Cline Gallery, which never disappoints. If you have a chance don’t miss out visiting some of these places and many more across the counties this weekend. To find out more about participating locations, go to www.applesandart.ca

I also popped in at the Jail Break Car Show which is on today only until 2 p.m. in the parking lot of Cornwall Jail. I voted for my favorite get-away car. while I was there. If you’ve never been, or even if you have, the historic jail is open for tours on a donation basis.

Have a great weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather!
