Today, October 19th, I stopped in at McHaffie Flea Market in Morrisburg to check things out. I had forgotten how massive this place is! In addition to apples, maple syrup, and garlic, there were all kings of new and second-hand items, crafts, antiques, and treasures for collectors. We found a new-to-us canoe paddle in just the right size!
Flea markets are a great place to enjoy sustainable shopping, and this one’s been around for over 40 years. I noticed several Hallowe’en-themed items here and there. I hear that the market is getting ready for trick-or-treating and there are a few surprises in store for visitors next Sunday, October 26th. Why not head on over there for a pre-Hallowe’en celebration?
