Frank Prevost will no longer continue to serve as Warden of the Council of the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.

THE COUNTIES, Ontario – Today, the Council of the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry met to discuss the current situation involving Frank Prevost.

As a result of today’s meeting, Council determined that because Mr. Prevost has been granted an unpaid 6-month leave of absence from the Township of South Glengarry, he is no longer eligible to fulfill the requirements as a sitting member of County Council for the duration of the leave and further that he will no longer continue to serve as Warden of the Council of the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.
At a future meeting, Council will determine how to best fill the role of Warden for the balance of 2021.
