The Heart and Stroke foundations has held “BIG BIKE” ride events in Cornwall and area last week, with many more planned for this week in Casselman, Alexandria, Vankleek Hill and Hawkesburry, hoping to raise around $60,000 with the campaign.

Last Friday, the Optimist Club of Cornwall did their share and hopped on the Big Bike, raising close to $4600 in the process.  Two other teams, Zumba with Crystal and La Citadelle, also rode, raising the daily total to just about $8,000.
