Seeker Chicks Julia and Mai-Liis are  wearing their purple shirts today in support of CAS’ campaign to raise Child Abuse Awareness.

“As we stand, 131 businesses and 58 schools in 9 communities are participating today” said Kimly Thivierge, Public Relations Manager at the Children’s Aid Society. “1400 t-shirts went

out this year.  This issue has been dormant in our community for years, but over the last last 2 years, the community has really awaken!”

At CAS headquarters, the entire staff proudly wore the color of the day, but the support goes far beyond the office.

“I love to see all the purple shirts today” said the window cashier at Tim Hortons on Second Street E. “Even the Seeker Chicks are in Purple!”
